Welcome to the website of East Of Eden Nursery, a small nursery situated in the village of Ainstable, which lies nestled in the Eden Valley, midway between Carlisle and Penrith, just to the East Of Armathwaite and the river Eden.

We specialise in Astilbes and more recently Geums with over 70 new varieties so far, all of which have been bred and raised on the nursery. More exciting introductions coming in 2017. All plants are available by mail order, or orders may be placed and collected at shows and plant fairs.

I exhibit at most major flower shows including the RHS flower shows and have stalls at Plant Fairs in the north of England.

The nursery is open mid-March to October, opening times and days are variable so please telephone or email me before calling to avoid disappointment, especially if making a long trip.  November to mid-March by appointment only

Plants are now available by mail order throughout the year, weather conditions permitting.
